And, Over 90% of it comes from the RW.

(What follows is merely a PRESENT Example--To Illustrate the Point--And, is not meant to Single anyone out (personally)):

    Blatant Opinion Crap Like This:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...cation-during-an-international-crisis.596980/

    Wasting Bandwidth in Current Events...

    1) Those who engage in this Deliberate Behavior (obviously) want to artficially Pump of the View Count before somebody comes to clean up after them.
(Since everybody knows that Current Events get exponentially more traffic than any other section).
So, they know that they will get more views and responses by deliberately putting it in the Wrong Section.

I have got to admit, that in my 6+ Years at PF, I have always wondered why the same people do it REPEATEDLY (and, with impunity).
And, as noted, 90% of it comes from the RW.

In my opinion, it IS (Repeatedly) being used as a Deliberate Tactic to Artificially Pump up the View Count.
(And, thus, giving a Higher Profile to Extreme RW "Opinions" from RW Trash "Outlets").

    Agree? Disagree?

Anybody want to weigh in on the use of this DELIBERATE Tactic (which circumvents Forum Rules)?

Unless you have a certificate from Professor Charles Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters OR UA High School over in Japan, how do you know these are deliberate?

    Please detail. TYVM.

I can't speak to why people do what they do. However, I have to admit to being very lazy when it comes to clicking on forums so I always use "New Posts" and it brings up everything in reverse chronological order. I pm'd a mod to ask about the proper place to post something and he told me which forums gets the most traffic. I was surprised by that for some reason. I don't really try to avoid certain forums but I will usually bypass stuff in religion and whatever subject lines just look like unmitigated hatred looking for validation. Beyond that, I don't care where stuff is posted because I don't isolate which subforums I read.

However, I have reached an upper limit on Trump apologists after the Capitol riot so ignoring the most horrible ones of that lot cuts back on my need for Tylenol.

You realize, of course, that 95% of statistics are made up.

The alternative is that the offenders, after REPEATEDLY having threads moved, are just too stupid to understand the rules, Xavier...

    You are MOST welcome.
