I don't believe the Constitution mandates that citizenship automatically starts at birth, as I've explained in another thread: The Constitution does NOT guarantee birth citizenship (Doesn't really have anything to do with abortion or fetal gestation, but does demonstrate my position is not inconsistent) Depends if you can find a company that will insure you. There's a company based in London called Lloyd's that will insure people for all sorts of bizarre things.
, If a 6 week fetus is deemed a person and it's inside an American then it is American. Don't be so coy about addressing the rest of the post …..
If a fetus is deemed a person at 6 weeks then it has the rights AND the restrictions of a person. One BIG restriction is that a person cannot use another person's body to sustain their life...so if the woman doesn't want to sustain it's life she is free to kill it. IF the fetus is a "person" at 6 weeks then the woman can use "self-defense" to kill it...it IS causing her harm and she has every right to stop that harm just like everyone else...
I am wondering when you get to declare the fetus as a dependent on your taxes, whether you see your SNAP, Medicaid or HUD benefits increase at 6 weeks? Does Social Security see the fetus as a beneficiary if Dad dies?
If it's inside an American, it's really a moot point whether it's a citizen or not. I can't see any situation where that would matter. But maybe I'm overlooking something, you tell me.
How about this? Punching a woman who's pregnant in the belly should be the same crime that punching a woman who's not pregnant is. Bet few people would agree with that.
Yes, but taxes should go up to care for the PERSON you claim is inside of women... taxes should pay for TWO PEOPLE'S food.
You do realize the US doesn't have a poll tax any longer? What you said makes no sense. (or at least it's an extremely tenuous point)
Could you please explain what you posted, so I can understand in case there's something I missed? Your argument certainly seems like the farthest thing from a 'gotcha' to me.
