I believe science does back me up. I could post links to a couple books that deal with our systemic negatives and how our blindness to them and feebleness at even detecting them makes walking our talk problematic at best. To distill the complexities in those books down to a simple easily digestible narrative is all but impossible.

Science? More like out of control confirmation bias. Sure there are text books documenting man’s foibles, defense mechanisms, narcissism, etc…..and don’t forget DSM-5, but that is not looking at the real world around you and we must have very different visions.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t live in Babylon. You see human “corruption” and I see a population overwhelmingly living a good life. That doesn’t mean there isn't some crime or the occasional lie. That means on balance man overwhelmingly chooses good, otherwise there would be chaos, no social order and the evolution of man would be put in reverse. That is not a subjective opinion.

No, because you're doing these so-called good acts with an ulterior motive.

Jesus was said to have told that to the Pharisees who said his miracle was the work of the devil.
So unless one has a close encounter with Jesus in the flesh it's the end of that story,

The denial of 'God" thingy would of course have to be the denial of the Christian God. lol

    What?

Well since we are talking about Christianity it's moot to mention that.

    Why the "what"
It was said to be a specific event in the life of Jesus, like an encounter of the 1st kind when he performed a miracle on the Sabbath,
What's your definition(s) of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?
btw: This Holy Spirit claim is used and abused by Christians on a daily basis.
Did you know that it not only inspires people it even talks to people in their heads and then if you're real lucky the person will tell you what it says.
That's if it's not the tongue Holy Spirit, then you need an interpreter, Oy Vey!

Those denying the Christian 'God" being never forgiven then brings to mind all the people who don't worship this God making them eternally damned.

It's sad and pathetic that people believe that they know the mind of this "God" they worship and fear.

Oh, and another thing about this Christian God, for some uncany reason his political beliefs always align with the person who claims to have contact with him.

    Just amazing, eh?
