After the fall of the USSR, Ukraine was a lot like Russia. Corrupt, underdeveloped, poor, and in trouble. They had the same problems with oligarchs Russia had. Unlike Russia, Ukraine took our advice. But it wasn't easy. Most of the oligarchs owned banks, which they used as pyramid schemes, ripping off their depositors. We finally got Ukraine to stress test banks, and they closed about 80 of the corrupt oligarch owned banks. But not the biggest one. Pryvat Bank was 5.5 billion in the hole, in a country with a GDP of only 93B. If they let the bank implode it would take down the entire economy. To make matters worse 'Special K' (that was the nickname of the bank owner in the embassy) owned a TV station, and he used it to to bash anyone he didn't like. Like the bank regulators and us. Eventually, the West had had enough. Ukraine desperately needed a loan, and the IMF wasn't willing to do it unless they cleaned up their act. So the USA, the EU and the IMF decided it was time to send a message. As VP, Biden was picked as having the highest profile that could still deliver the anti-corruption message. The bank was so big that it had to be nationalised, with the government assuming it's debt. (We should have done that in 2007, the one country that did do that recovered far quicker than we did). That did the trick. Ukraine finished cleaning up the worst offenders in it's financial sector. It was a significant success. But Putin did not want a successful Western economy on it's border, and Republicans played along with a number of his dirty trick schemes. Which is to say Republican corruption was used, by Putin, to attack anti-corruption efforts.
And Now Biden is giving our tax dollars to them to further destroy our economy and launder it out to corrupt regimes to make it back to where? How much has he given them so far? He's waiting approval for another 43 billion? Put that towards the debt the mismanagement of C19 caused.
You do wrong divinely. But fear not! Biden is going to give Ukraine tons more money, so what you'll have will suffice to keep your hysteria hysterical!!
What is wrong about what I said, the billions that Biden has stolen from the tax payer to give to a corrupt regime? Or that his son is a moron, incompetent juvenile coke head and making $50k a month doing nothing but getting Ukrainian officials phone calls with his stupid father?
