No...they don't. This surely must be embarrassing for the Kremlin chimp.

And painful, considering how many vital facilities and war assets are being hit. Small wonder he's stepping up the nuclear rhetoric now. Panic has to setting in.

Skynex German AD will be operational shortly in Kyiv.

Putin knows he made a terrible mistake in invading Ukraine. He does not know how to back out of it.

    This is completely pointless...

Even to this day people are arguing about which side won in
Vietnam, about whether we should have used nuclear weapons
to bring peace to Vietnam or just let it be conquered.

And whether having the whole US navy in the Gulf of Tonkin
    would have prevented the war.

And, yes I do have a debate going on in real life about how
much the US killing 4 million Vietnamese did to help the
    people of Vietnam.

And that the USS Maddox was doing it's best to stop war
    breaking out in Vietnam.

And here is the same debate going on again, whether the US plus
NATO are or are not defeating Russia, and if the UAF firing 155mm
shells at Donetsk was enough to prevent the war from starting or
if the whole US Army and Airforce attacking Eastern Ukraine would
    have prevented the war.

But now we need to move carrier groups out to prevent a war
over Taiwan, or maybe over Lebanon.

Without the US military there would be no peace anywhere,
even in the mountains of Asia, the Buddhists would find ways
to kill each other if we weren't there.

To become the country we want to be, we would have to stop being the country we currently are.

The US and UK want to start WW3 by attacking Russia, so if
we get nuked we have only ourselves to blame.

The theory that if Ukraine had a lot more weapons, then Russia
would not dare move any forces in to protect Donetsk.

That theory turned out to be wrong. Threatening Russia instead
of decreasing the risk of war actually increased it.

The West reserves the right to threaten Russia at any time and
in any way we choose to do so, but there is a risk that Russia
will respond to the threats by building up forces on the border,
forces a quarter of the size of the UAF forces we funded in
    Ukraine, but nonetheless significant forces.

A heavy bombardment of Donetsk was then all it took to get
Russia to move some forces in.

We expected to slaughter the Russians, and the media says
we did, but they are still there and suffering a fraction of the
casualties the Ukrainians are suffering as they keep attacking
    the Surovikin Line.

The deterrence theory totally failed, as soon as the 300 million
dollars of weapons sent by the US began to reach the front line
at Donetsk, and the UAF started using it, then Russia gave a
final warning and then on Feb 24th 2022 sent in some forces.

Russia responded to threats and to murder, not to deterrence.

Ukraine had 500,000 dead a few months ago counted by comparing earlier satellite photos
of military cemeteries with recent ones. There have been some burials in wooded areas
which can not be accurately counted, but estimates were 24,000 if I recall.

Russian deaths have been estimated repeatedly by various sources at 1/8 of Ukrainian
    deaths.

The ratio of shells fired in each direction indicates that figure and that The Russian
Federation is in a well-defended position with Ukraine attacking which might suggest
an increased ratio but drone attacks will tend to level out the figures a bit so 1 Russian
death to 7 or 8 Ukrainian deaths is a likely figure. Injuries are about 1 Russian to 5
    Ukrainian.

He likely has no way out of it but an impossible victory. Otherwise, he can look forward to a fate similar to that of the Romanovs and Rasputin..

Actually Ukraine is doing a ton of damage inside Russia already with an Australian made and supplied weapon - flat pack drones. Cheap disposable “cardboard” drones

Putin doesn't have enough submarines to 'surround' every country that despises him. Hell there aren't enough subs on the entire planet to do that.

Long range missiles striking Mocsow, and the homes of the oligarchs will be received much differently than short range drones.

Ukraine can play with drones and the Kremlin was attacked by Ukrainian drones over a year ago. Putin warned that Russia could use nuclear weapons if it was struck with long-range missiles supplied by the West. Such missile strikes by any non-nuclear state, with the participation or support of a nuclear state, may be considered as their joint attack on the Russian Federation.

Big, scary Russia has been hit by US-supplied ATACMS missiles already. Ukraine is occupying Russian territory.

All they do in response is shift the goalposts. Their nuclear threats are a bluff designed to keep western leaders deterred from providing more effective forms of military assistance and to keep stirring up fear among civilian populations, possibly in support of Russia's efforts to influence the coming election. After all, if voters imagine that voting Trump will prevent nuclear war, well, that might help him. And even apart from that, the more they keep us arguing amongst ourselves and divided over such Kremlin lies rather than being united in our response to Russia's aggression, the more they benefit and Ukraine suffers as a result.
