Has nothing to do with it...it is how the pole is used that determines its definition as a weapon.

Did you see the CNN video where Tapper said there is violence but he refused to show any of that.

No...but sometimes the network decides not to broadcast video that is too violent to be shown. Wait for the trials. No one is going to be indicted without evidence.

Signs point to Milley’s exit. Bragged about mutiny to sell the book: Peril

“Baseball fans know the score. When the general manager says he’s behind the manager 100%, that means the manager has two weeks left. Biden just said, ‘I have great confidence in General Milley.’ Look for Milley to soon decide to spend more time with his family.”

    Hit The Road, Jack!
When the WH started leaking against him, it was clear he was being **** canned.

    Surrender of Afghanistan
    Sedition too.
General Leak of the Trump Era.

Christopher Miller, who served as Secretary of Defense when Milley made his promise to General Li, said "he did not authorize the communication."

    "Uh-oh."

"Miller is a retired Special Forces colonel."

Say "So Long" to traitor Mark Milley.

Existing policy is that a rouge general gives a heads up to our enemy of an attack? Existing policy is the Generals, who have NO command and control authority, exert command authority and instruct other officers to ignore the Commander in Chief and that he is in control? Existing policy is that if the CJCS speaks with our enemy and they express concerns of an impending attack he does not tell the SecDef and President IMMEDIATELY? Existing policy is that a rouge general gets to determine on his own if the President is mentally capable of carrying out his job and if he does then he takes over command of the military?

    REALLY?

Milley's tern is up in October via normal rotation. I would think he'll retire to write books of his own, as well as testify before various Congressional Committees.

If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.

    Treason, mutiny/sedition, insubordination if true.

You do know the CJCS is not in command of the military?

No...existing policy is that the United States does not launch attacks except in self-defense. Milley said "if we break that policy, I'll let you know." Are you arguing that the President has the power to initiate a nuclear war? He doesn't.

Twenty years ago, I'd have said you were dead-wrong, Foolardi.

But, today? After all the sh!t that's gone down in this country, and all the lies that we've been told, I would believe that nothing -- no matter gutter-crawling BAD it is -- is impossible anymore....

He's the highest military adviser to the President. He sits on the National Security Council. Milley had already caught a Trump "go-around" in regard to the NSC, on withdrawing all U.S. forces from Afghanistan BEFORE he left office (which would have given the military weeks, instead of months, to withdraw, scheduled in the agreement for May 1st, 2021). Somehow he obtained a signed Executive Order on the early withdrawal, but prior to its release. According to the book, the WH head of the NSC knew nothing about the memo. They went to the President and talked him out of the release. Milley (and others) became concerned of another "end run" around the established advisors. Pelosi had the same concerns and subsequent to his discussion with her (where he assured her everything was under control) he gathered his subordinates at DoD together (presumably the service chiefs) and warned them to report any unusual orders and to obey only lawful orders.

I think Trump reads this forum and/or others like it. Have you ever noticed every time we start talking about anything he comes out with one of his stupid $0.02 memos? So, all he's doing is repeating what his supporters say and then tries to run with that. He clearly doesn't research anything (or he would have known the limits on Pence's legal power to stop the certification was "none"). He just spouts off about anything and everything until something sticks. It's pathetic.

And, from what I read from @Arkanis' thread, Milley did NOT say GO AROUND the POTUS. He told his team to FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES AS WRITTEN.

I didnt say there was an attack. But Milley stated to the chinese that it was Milleys policy and promise to the Chinese that he would alert them of any attack.

I didnt say he did exercise operational command but he announced his operational command to the military staff and insisted they acknowledge it.

They claimed officer Sicknick was attacked and killed by a fire extinguisher. We know he died at home due to a stroke.

Do you guys recall General Al Haig and his nonsense the day Reagan was shot?

Haig said he was in charge. Raised one hell of a fuss with the media.

Right. On the crazy demand of Pence, Trump (or one of his aides) found a crazy professor, John C. Eastman, who told him that Pence had the constitutional power to reject the certified electoral ballots and get the state legislatures to investigate the election (as some are still doing). This guy spoke at the January 6th rally during Rudy Giuliani's time slot. His theory is bunk. But, he did go to reputable universities and served as Clarence Thomas' law clerk, so he has some creditials, although he's on the fringe...sort of to constitutional law as Navarro is to economics. Pence may have mentioned him to Quayle, as one of the WH insiders arguing on Trump's side. Trump has the knack of finding the "outlier" who agrees with him, then goes with that regardless of the overwhelming opposite opinions.
Don't think the operational commands report to the JCS. If he summoned his subordinates, they would have been the other Chiefs of Staff. But, even if the operational people had been there, he only reminded them to follow lawful orders and report anything strange or questionable.

Democrats ignore the Biden lies. Democrats ignore the danger he presents for our own country.
Take the oil pipeline. He did not favor the USA. And he sure did not favor Canada.
Take the illegal immigrants. Even there, he favors not Mexico, but the lower counties below Mexico.
Biden is a clear and present danger to America.

Was the jury told that agents of the FBI have a long well documented history of infiltrating organizations and not only inciting violence but actually committing violent felonies to entrap their targets?
If not the defendants were denied due process and a fair trial.

13 people were apparently charged in a group infiltrated by "at least" 12 known agents of the FBI in the group.
IOW, the FBI might have controlled the majority of those involved. Sounds like now common kangaroo justice.

Over 4000 convicted defendants have been exonerated since 1989.
Convictions do not confirm guilt when a criminal justice system routinely violates the due process rights and fundamental human rights of defendants.

Exactly what top-secret action if that is even a thing, did Milley take to keep Trump from using nuclear weapons?
