    Before Trump, I was never really behind any politician more than 50-60% of the time. This even included Reagan, who I really only agreed with half of the time.

    Voting for me was always about choosing the lesser of two evils rather than a candidate I could really get behind.

    Then came 2016, and Trump emerged as a candidate that I find myself almost perfectly aligned with. The only issue I really don’t agree with is the support of gun rights but I’m pretty much in full alignment on everything else.

    I know Trump claims to be a republican but I don’t think he is. It’s almost like he started his own party.

    He does things that traditional don’t garner democrat or republican support (tariffs for example).

    its got me thinking, do you think America would be better off if Trump had solo decision making power over everything?

    He should not be a dictator but he shouldn't be limited to two terms.

    American people are behind Trump for who he excludes out of America, ISIS, illegals, liberal whiners, RINO, the media, femanazi's. There's a lot more that he needs to exclude, but it'd take more than eight years.

    Nope. The republic will live or die on the strength or weakness of the people. One man cannot compensate for that.

    Even the imperial presidents such as Lincoln and FDR were reined in by the people and Congress.

    Trump is no different. The Congress and people will let him go only so far and no farther.

    Hubris, if he lives long enough, will bring him down.

    Sure, if America wants to experience firsthand what dictatorship means.

    Secret police terror against innocent citizens, concentration camps, no free press nor free speech, censorship, no more rule of law, arbitrary arrests, torture, state terrorism, etc ...

    All Trump had to do to take over the GOP was parrot the garbage propaganda with all its phony scandals and ridiculous conspiracy theories. Thank God for the Constitution and the whole freedom thing.

    After 35 years of this GOP give away to the rich screw everyone else propaganda based garbage, we have the worst inequality and upward mobility in our history. The GOP scam based on reconciliation to cut taxes and filibuster to stop reform has gotten so obvious we're going to get a big dose of socialism. Which everywhere in the world but the GOP propaganda machine is simply Fair capitalism always democratic with a good safety net. we are the only rich country without a living wage health Care daycare paid parental leave great vacations and infrastructure cheap college and training and mainly taxing the rich their fair share. Only propaganda makes this GOP mess possible.

    answer is probably yes, as he has done so many great things for country in only 3.5 years. The problem is that we can't allow dictatorship as no man should rule via force over citizens. Freedom always wins..
