Would Canadians welcome Harry and Meghan?

There is no way they last that long in Malibu, CA... It is such a boring, snobbish enclave! At best, they can retreat there but they will never be fully accepted of feel a sense of community (I never did). Take it from me, - been there & done that w/ an apartment on PCH (undergrad years), across from Bruce Willis. It's great to visit but not to set down roots, unless you are part of the liberal cabal. Cher, basically runs the 'who's who' in Malibu & much like a small town middle America ~ the litmus on 'acceptability' in the neighborhood is figured out at 'Ralphs' grocery store, a stones throw away from Cher's compound, lol...

 

Well I was looking at 7 years before their marriage ends. As far as fitting in in Malibu or anywhere else, it's hard to imagine they won't make Cher's guest list. But then again, I know nothing about the internal politics of Malibu.
