So why are they spending so much money on the R&D then? Surely none of them would want one either, so as well as being irrational, it'll be the biggest white elephant in the history of mankind won't it? [IMG]

I'd rather be out on the roads with driverless cars than deal with the Massholes around here!

With all the terrible drivers, drunk drivers, people on their cell phones, road rage'rs ect... Driverless cars are the least of our worries.

No because a Corvette ZR1 wouldn't be the same driverless.

Bit of a 60's and 70's muscle car fan and when I say bit I mean

    Owned
    2 70's Camaro
2 70's Pontiac firebird, 1 of them transam
    1 G20

and would have owned far far more if I wasn't in the UK!

If I ever drag my ass to the US
I want a Dukes of Hazzard charger because it looks cool when going in straight lines. Also the confederate flag will piss liberals off so a double bonus.
A 67 SS Camaro because you need something to go the shops in ;)

The GTO judge is picking chicks up :)

A T top 77 Trans Am so I can grow a moustache dye my hair brown and pretend to be the bandit.

I have a receding hair line (Not gone yet but you know it's tick tock, tick tock lol. Mind you I thought that a decade ago.) which is fine I can wear a wig and I'll be even more authentic as the bandit ha ha ha.

You wouldn't half be frustrated in that car if it was autonomous, Monkey, and not being able to overtake because all other cars are autonomous? To be honest, I don't think anyone's thought this through.

I agree, how do we decide who I'm going to cut up at the next roundabout whilst over taking.

Yes, but the car will decide not you? That's what 'autonomous car' means?

That's why I shall avoid it as long as possible because it's my god given right as an ******** to cut the old lady up.
