"If these allegations are true, they may represent a breach of responsibility by the administration, a violation of the law, and, just as importantly, a direct affront to me and the members of this committee who have so ardently supported efforts to collect information on our enemies." Hoekstra is free to say whatever he believes. But it sounds more like his letter is asking questions. Until the administration responds, we don't know if what Hoekstra "heard" is true, now do we???

This is unlike the Democrats who will totally cut off any of their own who question their leaders or who go against their leaders' views. As in.....Joseph Lieberman.

Seems to me, it'll be a cold day in hell before that happens.

After all, responding to Congressional inquiries doesn't seem to be the administration's strong suit.

the Rep. said this moring his info was from a "whistle blower" inside the intelligence community.

This argument is supported by the Ambassador Wilson/Valerie Plame events, as well as by the string of unauthorized disclosures from an organization that prides itself with being able to keep secrets. I have come to the belief that, despite his service to the DO, Mr. Kappes may have been part of this group. I must take note when my Democratic colleagues - those who vehemently denounced and publicly attacked the strong choice of Porter Goss as Director - now publicly support Mr. Kappes return..."

I like the way he thinks. If the Dems are for somebody, there must be something wrong with him.

If the Chair of the House Intel Committee didn't know about it, that means no one in the House was briefed. This is a violation of Constitutional law.
