The CIA or other goverment agencies should use any techiniques they find nessacry to obtain needed information. Yes some information will be false but there are multiple sources of information as well as ways of finding out if the person is lying just to get out of getting tortured.

What of those who are actually innocent? Is there any way of finding out that these people are actually innocent, or will they continue being tortured because people think they know something when they don't?

I do not consider water boarding torture. It does not hurt, and when professionals do it, you can not die.

But it was ruled as illegal activity a few months ago, so there is one less tool out there for us to use.

Can I ask...how do you know it doesn't hurt if you haven't been subjected to it before, and how do you know you won't die? Even professionals make mistakes.
