I'm a big Zeppelin fan. Unlike many bands, their catalog doesn't have many lame songs (most current bands have nothing but lame songs). I'll switch the list up. Here are three Zeppelin songs, although great, that I've reached muscial saturation with and simply don't need to hear again:

Whole Lotta Love
Stairway to Heaven
Kashmir

All classics, all great songs, all over played for the last 30 years. Favorite new station: XM Radio's LED station. All Zeppelin, all day, no commercials. More Boogie With Stu and Bron Yr Aur Stomp and Custard Pie, less Stairway to Heaven.

Default My selections

I guess my favorite three are:

Black Dog
Moby Dick
Kashmir

... although this was hard to narrow down.

I can't say which was my first tune I heard them play. My memory isn't as good as it used to be... I think...

I'm old. I was a kid when they were a band. This was before Bonzo died. Wait... when did he die?

I prefer Country/Western music to heavy metal.

One of my first albums, yes album as in vinyl, was In Through the Out Door by LZ.....came out in '79 I think.

Hot Dog was the name of the track, not often played on commercial radio. Very Country/Western flavor to it.

and of course Stairway to Heaven, who hasn't heard that one

Led Zeppelin is not heavy metal! And for the record, country music sucks ass.

Stairway to Heaven
Battle of Evermore

But their best tune is "Immigrant Song." That's how they did immigration back in the day.... none of this sissy visa stuff.

Though I think these guys got the lyrics wrong....

Country/Western

and I suppose you're a "city slicker"....

My musical tastes are not limited to just one genre. I also never stated I disliked Led Zeppelin, certainly their roots are southern blues. Many of their songs use steel guitars by the way, a decidedly Country/Western instrument.

Not sure what that means. But if I lived deep in the hollow I would still hate country music. And rap.

It's OK if you hate them! Music is subjective. That's why Britney Spears sells albums. When it comes to such things there is no right or wrong. Country is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Some people like that sound. Cool.
