memories from the late 60's and all of the 70's have melded into a smokey haze, but if i recall correctly Dazed And Confused (appropriate enough) was the first LZ song i heard.

only Hendrix' Are You Experienced? had a more profound influence on me than that first zep album

I can't remember what exact song it was I heard first. I was a little kid (in the 80's) and my brother had 2 of their cassettes. (II and ZOSO or whatever you call it) Those Zeppelin cassettes first turned me onto rock 'n roll. We didn't get MTV and stuff back then and my parents were kinda anti-rock so classic rock was like heavy metal to me. I've scratched up and wore out my whole collection of their CD's since then.
