Hello!

I'm new to this place. I've looked for good political forums a couple of times. Maybe this'll be the one that finally holds my interest. Most of the good ones I've seen in the past have been political simulations. Those are competitive, though! A surprising number of the people on them aren't all that interested in actual politics, and see the simulation as something to 'win' - a baffling view if there ever was one.

Anyways, I won't bring up my actual political affiliations right now. Those'll likely become clear enough in future posts as it is.

Yeah, we get people here who engage in debate and then declare themselves the "winner" after a bit.

I'm not sure how it is they determine this. Pretty condescending if you ask me.

I come here to debate, learn, read, laugh, make friends. It's a decent place, compared to other bulletin boards.
