Thank you!! The little one is now 3 months old, and she has come a long way since we got her! She has learned sit, lay, down, up, and no! And she is almost potty trained now! We named her ainsley, after ainsley hayes from west wing!

C-D-P, that is a stunning picture of D.O.G. in the sunset....and Hyde is lovely (German Shepherds absolutely rock!)


I have six dogs...here is one of them, Cowboy...working (which he likes best) and the second one is with his "girl friend", Anya (my friends German Shepherd) - they play like nuts together.

Thanks for the complements. D.O.G is a good boy. Hyde is a little more aggressive, not the bad kind of aggressive, more work oriented aggressive (kind of surprising cause D.O.G has a lot of Dobe in him).

What is Cowboy mixed with, he looks to have some border in him. I had a few when I was younger. Brilliant dogs. Absolutely brilliant.

It doesn't surprise me about Hyde - German Shepherds are still often bred with a strong amount of drive and work ethic. They are also very aware of their environment and of any changes there ini (which they will promptly inform you of). Cowboy is actually an Australian Shepherd, bred from old working lines so he is a lot like a Border Collie (another breed I love) but a little harder headed.

She is so cute! We have several Goldens in our trAining club and they are characters. One of them likes to "shop" - he goes around and checks out all the crates for toys, and then stands on his hind legs to check out the "lost toys basket" and make a selection.

Here's another picture - one of my dogs, Abby Normal, is the one between the Golden and the Irish, but the Goldens (father and son) are the ones she flirts with (she's a hussy!).

ACD's are TOUGH...more dog then I want to tangle with most of the time. One of the few times I've been bitten by a dog has been when I temperment tested an ACD in a shelter. I've found most Dobies though, to be real sweet hearts - much less reactive then GSD's for example and quite sensitive - I think they tend to mix well with other breeds. One of my favorite mixes is a GSD/Collie mix. I've had two over the years...and I lost my last one in October to lymphoma. He was a wonderful dog - and incredably gentle and too intellegent (opened doors, cabinets, refridgerator).
