Some drunk I was arguing with many years ago, in a pub, shut me up and changed my outlook to politics forever. He said, and I'm certain, stole from someone else, that "You do not vote for who you like you vote for who you hate the least" And this comment, from about 10 years ago, is why I would vote for Obama. Do I trust him? lol He's a politician I don't trust any of them, why would I. But do I think after the disaster of the Bush administration we need to take the risk, yes. People talk about "winning" in Iraq. We already lost by not "winning" when our leaders predicted, assumed, hoped and said we did. That was when we lost the "threat" of violence as a motivational tool. Now every country knows that a bit of resistance and it'll waste our resources. Wear us down. For a coalition of nuclear armed, technologically advanced countries who claim vast superiority, against countries who have primitive, underfunded armies, that is a loss... I'll step off my soapbox at this point, but there's plenty more that can be said about Iraq, Afghanistan, the economy, human rights, freedom and the thousand other things that have been screwed up by the Bush administration and the idiots that followed them.
*Steps off soap box*
Hello by the way.
