Most of our families are liberals,at least dems, poor dears. When we have family gatherings, we do have some interesting, (yeah right, knock down drag outs) discussions. We still hug & kiss at the end of the gatherings & I love all to death.

During Vietnam he flew the F-4, later he flew the A-10, & his last "driving" job , was B-52's. But he had to stop flying about 6 years before he retired from the AF.

I was a C-21 cowboy before settling on the C-130.

Hog's on the left, Herk's on the right....two fine aircraft.

For almost two years, I had all four in college at the same time. It's my claim to fame. I've been promised a Jaguar. Woohoo! A couple of hundred thousand in debt now and in 10-15 years, I'll get a new car! What a great investment!

I love the hog, I swear they're ugly but one of the most graceful flying things I've ever seen. We were at RAF Ben(*)(*)(*)(*)ers when he flew the A-10.
I flew on the C-130 from RAF Mildenhall to Ramstein, we had the "troop seats", what fun. We used to call the 130 "the lump"
Oops, don't know what the (*)(*)(*) is but the word was "waters". Is that a no no?

A Jag?? Wow, I'd say you deserve it. I'm still drivin my F-150 Red pick em up, it's 7 years old but runs like a new one. Hubby offered to buy me a new one, but I'm holdin out.....don't know for what but I'll know it when I see it. LOL

Don't mind the word censor. Often, it picks words out of other words. Sometimes it's good to do that. Obviously, sometimes it's stupid.

Bent waters. Sheesh. Hey, it's better than the old one. It used to change the word cock to stink, so if you said "John Kerry is cocky" it came out, "John Kerry is stinky." True, but a completely different meaning.

My family is very hardcore Conservative, so when I decided to go to the left there were some definite knock down drag out arguments.

I still have a touch of Conservative blood left in me though so I was able to hold my own in those heated arguments LOL.
