Default Hi everyone

Hi all. Im new to the forum...*snort* don't know what to say other than that, lol. I live in Virginia, can't wait to leave it for the sunny beaches of California in a couple of years. I help run two production companies, one of which is what's going to be moving out to CA in a couple years. They're doing pretty well where we are though.

I'm a polysci major at the L Douglas Wilder School of Government at VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University), but my first love is film (it shows in my grades...).

Im an administrative assistant for a financial firm (yuck! I don't understand money!) and I'm a seasonal employee at a gas station (what a jump, eh?) AND I do independent film work around the area I live.

I like cats, The Hills, lying by the pool or at the beach, I like the sophisticated bar/club scene...you know, there's some dancing going on, but it's just a really relaxed atmosphere over all. I love the tupperware my boss gave me cause I can put it in the oven and bake in it (I've gone up to like...400 degrees before) and I don't really have anything to clean up cause I eat out of it....I dunno, I'm like a guy...I don't like cleaning. And its faster cause the heat doesn't take as much time to get through the rubber like it would the corningware...

I don't know why Im talking about my tupperware...new subject!

Anyways, I consider myself liberal, but I'm not aligned with any candidate. I was a supporter of Hillary Clinton, but after the Bosnia thing...we've already had issues with our president being less than forth coming, and although I think that a Clinton in the White House would be a great thing, I'm not sure if I can half way trust (let's be honest, that's about as much as you can trust ANY politician) what she says. Oh, and the Iran thing...not so much a fan of yet ANOTHER war. She's talking about 'obliterating' Iran if they attack Israel, Obama wants to take troops into Pakistan, McCain wants to camp out in the sand box for the next century.....

I need to fill my tank. I need to get to work. I need to buy food. I need to be able to go to school. I need to be able to have healthcare at a level a 24 year old can pay for. I want my homosexual friends to be able to get married and have the same benefits as any heterosexual couple, and if I get raped, I want the right to abort a baby I wouldn't be able to take care of in the first place. Thats the kind of stuff I care about.

And my tupperware.

Welcome to the forum, sorry about the liberal thing, but when it all shakes out and you see the real world as it is we will welcome you to our side. We need someone that has talent to do more ads like the swift boat thing.

Good luck in Cali, enjoy the wine and the really good Mexican food.
