Just ditched the two message boards I'd been a member of for a couple of years. One was a tiny little circle jerk, heavily dominated by intelligent but trashmouthed neocons; the other much larger board recently devolved into nasty ethnic joke telling with no apparent desire on the part of the mods to end the ugliness. My complaints were considered outrageous. Go figger.

So I've been searching low and high for a decent political discussion message board, and by god if it didn't take me till page 14 of a Google search to finally find one with intelligent, reasonable, interesting posters with varying political stances (I mean, who wants to sit around and rub the bellies of people you totally agree with? I want DISSENT! DEBATE! DISCUSSION!).

Where've you people been all my life!?

Probably. I like to have my belly rubbed, though it happens, at best, infrequently.
