They have? I wasn't aware of it.

We Persians are becoming minorities in our own country. The Azeri Turks are now 20% of the population and at the rate they're having babies Iran could become a Turkish speaking country in our lifetimes.

Where I live no one emigrates to Turkey, but I wouldn't be surprised if Iranians in the west of the country, especially the Azeris who speak the Turkish language emigrated to Turkey given the thriving private sector and the low inflation rates especially compared to Iran.

Welcome.

The good news is only 20% of America hates you and wants to nuke you into the stone age.
The bad news is, those are the guys in charge.

If you've ever thought about building a a steel and concrete bunker with a 3 month supply of food, now would be a good time.

I'd also like to give voice to our side of the story hopefully, and I'd be more than glad to clear up some of the misconceptions people may have.

So with that, let the welcomes (and the trash talking) begin!
I have no problem with Iran, Just your leader and anyone like him. Welcome to the forum and I look forward to discussions.

Take our oil, take as much as you want. In the 1990s the Rafsanjani administration opened bidding to any country that wanted to develop our oil fields. China gave the best offer, but Rafsanjani gave the contracts to the US over China as a gesture of good will. AIPAC and those Israeli lobbies blocked the deal, and that cost us as well as American companies billions of dollars.

So I don't think it's about oil. You can have as much as that as you want, I think the problem lies elsewhere.

If only I had the money. We had a weak earthquake the other day and my hookah fell and broke. I can only imagine what a bomb would do.

I have several Iranian friends as well as a really good friend who was there for several years right before the Shah fell. Never had a problem with an Iranian one on one. I question some of the Iranian president's motives and actions, but that isn't your fault.

I even know a couple swear words in Farsi.

Well Amen to that brother. And I'm gonna take a wild guess and say at least one of the curse words you know starts with a "K". Am I wrong?
