Under a republican president and a republican governor, Florida ranks 1st in job market in the country. This is even in spite of hurricanes. Now the left may try to spin it anyway they can, but the fact remains that Florida's booming economy is the result of two republican leaders. Less than 10 years ago, while Florida was run by a democrat governor Lawton Chiles and under President Clinton, the economy of Florida was distressed with no relief in sight. Enter Jeb Bush and President Bush. OK dems, let's turn this around.

Florida has at least two huge thriving cities and is a tourist trap. Rich people invest in property there because of the nice climate. It would take more talent to screw up Florida's economy.
Send Jeb to Louisiana or even Michigan. Then we'll see how good he is. But Sleepy your correlation sounds more like superstition than anything. It's like saying "Seattle gets more rain because some guy there did the proper rain dance."

This is just partisan foolishness. There is no real correlation between political parties and economic success. There are states governed by Republicans doing well, just as there are states governed by republicans doing poorly. Same goes for Democrat governed states.
