It seems to me; people are starting to realise that they can collectively control things like outsourcing, hireing of illegals, falling wages, etc. if they support each other. collective bargaining is a good thing, this is not what shuts companies down, they have negotiations to reach agreements by which niether party gets screwed. Unions should try to supply qualified people to companies, and have qualified replacements for screwups that inherently slip by.
