Monsanto is not 'notoriously corrupt' that is ridiculous.

They created Agent Orange. Surely, you know about how disastrous that chemical turned out to be.

They also initiated the use of rBGH, which has continually shown to be detrimental to human health when consuming dairy products from cows injected with elevated levels of this hormone.

They also have a terrible environmental record.

They've also had numerous legal disputes both against others (namely farmers) for very unethical reasons and against them for unethical practices.

In short, they're like the BP/Exxon of the agricorp market.

    Here's a good starting point:

Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is."

Agent orange was created for a military need of a defoliant. The effects on the human body were not wholly known. You could make a case for negligence if you could PROVE it but not some monstrous conspiracy.

Yes and that hormone has not proven to cause any deleterious human effect. Moreover, Monsanto spearheaded the mandatory labeling of milk. Go to your grocery store and look at the milk cartons....You have a CHOICE to buy milk from non treated cows. Most of the milk I see is from non-hormone treated cows.

They also have a terrible environmental record.
Environmentalists are whackos in the first place. I put 0 credence in any proclamations coming from that contingent.

They've also had numerous legal disputes both against others (namely farmers) for very unethical reasons and against them for unethical practices.
They won a court case involving a farmer who purposely sprayed his crops with Round Up so that all the non-Round Up ready plants would die. Then, he saved seeds from the plants that survived and planted hundreds of acres of Round Up ready plants that he would have had to pay a fee for if he bought the seeds from Monsanto. Think what you will but the court case was settled in Monsanto's favor. They have the right to their patented GM seeds.

In short, they're like the BP/Exxon of the agricorp market.

Without BP and Exxon you wouldn't be driving.

    BTW Pusztai's experiments were flawed.

"THE government's senior advisers on the safety of genetically modified
food have dismissed as irrelevant and inconclusive the work of Arpad
Pusztai, the scientist who caused a furore with his studies on GM
    potatoes."

Yes, I'm sure they'd never lie on their own website.

How do you know that there is nothing wrong with GMO crops? Is it wise to use genes from one unrelated organism and put in another? Should the food we consume have the DNA of a fly in it? Is it wise to have plants that make its own pesticide? And what happens when we consume that plant or fruit? Man is like a little baby that is playing with explosive.
What passes for Christianity today is a cleverly disguised form of Satanism.....it’s a fulfillment of what Jesus said in Matthew 24:4-5.

Monsanto created that site to fool gullible and naive people such as yourself.

Wrong!!! Monsanto sued milk producer cooperatives in Maine and Vermont who advertised their milk as hormone free claiming that advertising milk as BGH free was a gross infringement on Monsanto's right to do business which somehow trumped the milk producers right to free speech. The courts decided against Monsanto.

Monsanto also won a case in Canada against a farmer where GMO Canola was found in his harvest. Monsanto claimed that the GMO Canola could not reproduce naturally or cross pollinate non-GMO Canola. Both of these claims were later proved false and documents were discovered that showed the Monsanto knew this at the time of the case.

Anyway, farmers in Brazil and Argentina plant Monsanto soy beans and pay Monsanto nothing because the entire crop has become contaminated by Monsanto GMO soybean genes and Monsanto has been unable to prove their product is incapable of doing so.

Without BP and Exxon you wouldn't be driving.
No, but we would not have to because there would be public transit to everywhere and we could drive nice quiet non-polluting electric cars where it isn't.
