What we have here is corporate regulation: Where a Corporations dictate the regulation, not the government. The federal Government only Obeys the corporations in this case. For example, Monsanto has Washington insiders strategicly placed like Clarance Thomas, and the EPA and FDA, and the Patten department. When they have this power, they force government to create regulations, and environmental regulations, and patten laws so that Monsanto will be able to squeeze out their competition, or make them their slaves.
The benifit is the USA can sell off soybeans, corn, and grain, to food manufacturers at a price so low, other countries can't compete.
But the down side is, the 3 food monopoly manufacturers in the USA will profit off the federal government and taxpayers for subsidies to keep their price competitive with the world. Hence, the smal buisness farmer and other countries cant compete against the big three.
Remember, the Federal government does not create regulations just to create regulations, there is alwasy a goal to manipulate society towards an outcome. Also, remember, corporations like Monsanto, and others, pay more money to looby the USA Federal Government in one year, than your State pays to run the State government for a year. If you think corporations do it just to stimulate the economy and give out free paychecks, you deserve to gets screwed over by your congress politicians.
You like free market enterprise, this is the result of it. Three food monopolies, taking advantge of the government and the taxpayer and creating laws that benifit their own.
