Thread: Monsanto Shifts ALL Liability to Farmers

What we have here is corporate regulation: Where a Corporations dictate the regulation, not the government. The federal Government only Obeys the corporations in this case. For example, Monsanto has Washington insiders strategicly placed like Clarance Thomas, and the EPA and FDA, and the Patten department. When they have this power, they force government to create regulations, and environmental regulations, and patten laws so that Monsanto will be able to squeeze out their competition, or make them their slaves.

The benifit is the USA can sell off soybeans, corn, and grain, to food manufacturers at a price so low, other countries can't compete.

But the down side is, the 3 food monopoly manufacturers in the USA will profit off the federal government and taxpayers for subsidies to keep their price competitive with the world. Hence, the smal buisness farmer and other countries cant compete against the big three.

Remember, the Federal government does not create regulations just to create regulations, there is alwasy a goal to manipulate society towards an outcome. Also, remember, corporations like Monsanto, and others, pay more money to looby the USA Federal Government in one year, than your State pays to run the State government for a year. If you think corporations do it just to stimulate the economy and give out free paychecks, you deserve to gets screwed over by your congress politicians.

You like free market enterprise, this is the result of it. Three food monopolies, taking advantge of the government and the taxpayer and creating laws that benifit their own.

Forgot to add. If you didn't know, Monsanto has the patten for a genetic designed Soybean used in their farms and contracted farms. When bees pollinate other soybean farms' soybeans, and the genetic design is spread over the USA it becomes a leagal issue of stealing a genetic designed Monsanto soybean. And Monsanto Laywers will make a house call, and shut down and take over the infringing farm. Cool set up yes. Go check out the Frontline report they did on genetic enginered food, and food pattens.

What happens is....farmers buy roundup ready soybeans and sell them....all except a few to plant for the next year. This violates Monsantos patent and they want the fartmer to pay. I have seen it done.

I did not have to read a link...I have seen it done in person.

It also violates the contract the farmer signed with Monsanto when they bought the seeds.

"Growers who purchase our patented seeds sign a Monsanto Technology/Stewardship Agreement — an agreement that specifically addresses the obligations of both the grower and Monsanto and governs the use of the harvested crop. The agreement specifically states that the grower will not save or sell the seeds from their harvest for further planting, breeding or cultivation."

I do believe everything Monsanto says. Why would they lie. They sure went through a lot of money and trouble to establish a patten. I guess they are just honorable people and like to look at it on the wall.
