Don't write BS. The defeat of the Japanese was primarily due to the Americans,with the help of their Western allies, including many Aussies. As usual, the Russians came in at the very end when all the really hard battles had been won. We can still see the Russians duplicity with its continued resistance to efforts to bring down the Syrian President leader, the hated, monstrous and barbaric Bashar al-Assad. And I don't recollect any Russians being taken prisoner and suffering the barbaric torture inflicted on other Japanese prisoners.

ANd thank General McArthur for not allowing Japan to be divided like germany was as the USSR wanted. Who knows how much more japanese people would have to suffer after WWII much like the people of every other soviet occupied country did.
