Are you an expert on brain surgery as well?
I know way more about the Abrahamic faiths than many of their own followers know. But it doesn't take an "expert" to know that (like I wrote) all three teach hatred of "the other", hatred for innocent gays, hatred for women, hatred for the majority of humanity, hatred for sexual freedom, hatred for animals, hatred for people who are against slavery, hatred for many other things as well.
Can you deny that the Abrahamic Faiths teach these things? I bet you can't. Can you show how modern Secular Humanism DOES teach those things? I bet you can't.

Show me where I'm wrong, exactly.

Jesus approved of slavery in the Bible, but modern Secular Humanism disapproves of it...so am I an anti-slavery BIGOT? If I'm against religion it's for a good reason, as possibly no other institutions in world history have caused so much pain, suffering, and scientific stagnation as religion. If telling the truth is "bigotry", then I guess I'm a full-fledged Archie Bunker.

Christianity, for example, is so incredibly vile, that Christians even give their own children a book that says that their own children should be killed (if their own children happen to turn out to be one of the approximately 300 million gays in the world)....even before they know the sexual orientation of said children! Incredibly poor parenting. "What would Jesus do?"...how about playing Russian Roulette with children's lives, that's what. Not very moral at all. How many Christians have been responsible, indirectly, for the death of their own children because of Jesus' pathetic lack of teaching tolerance of gays. Marie Osmond, for example? The Christian parents of what percentage of gays who have ever committed suicide? I don't know, but it's one too many, no matter what it is.

Christians, please stop teaching Jesus'/Bible's vile hatred for about 85% of humanity: gays, bi-sexuals, women, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, people who have sex outside of marriage, people who work on Sunday, etc., etc.

There is a clear pattern that critics of Secular Humanism follow, including you: they rarely even attempt to disprove our claims, because they can't. Instead, they only deal in ad hominem attacks, or general broad denials. Facts are their enemy. Diversion is their friend. The truth will be their undoing.
Watch how a Muslim debates a Secular Humanist...that's exactly how you debate (even though I don't think you're a Muslim.)
You are very easy to predict, my friend. If you move to a better belief system, then you will be able to stand the truth much much more. Think about it.

slavery was okay because slaves weren't people they were property, it was okay to sell, beat, rape, kill your slave and still have the sky pixies blessing...

Jesus approved of slavery in the Bible
In the Old Testament, slavery was allowed but only because of indebtedness or vanquishment in times of war. However, slavery as practiced in the South occurred because people were kidnapped into slavery. This is the crime called "man stealing" and it is punishable by death according to Exodus 21:16.

and vanquishment in war isn't "man stealing"? this no different than what the Romans practiced, slaves were property not people...

You, like myself, know the Christian texts better than most Christians do. Keep it up. Matthew 5:17 may be the eventual undoing of Christianity, as it links approval of the most vile atrocities ever committed back to Jesus. We love them, and want to help them move beyond centuries-old superstitions into science, reason, and common sense.

Wyly, do feel the rise of a new belief system slowly starting to take hold? The number of followers of reality-based beliefs (atheism, etc.) have DOUBLED in the US in the last, incredibly, only twenty years. Astonishing, and unprecidented! Now is the best time in world history to get on board the reality express and move beyond ancient magic/superstitions.

Ideally, those groups can bring the GOOD parts of their belief systems (love thy neighbor, give to charity, etc.) to Secular Humanism, to make it an even better belief system, as it's improving all the time. If they can let go of the fear and hatred that they've been taught in their houses of worship their whole lives, I'm sorry to say. Obviously, there is no place for violence, hatred, vengeance, illogical thought, racism, sexism, homophobia, lack of reason, mindless faith, magic, etc. in the world's best belief system.
