Gaza's infrastructure was destroyed during Cast Lead as a direct result of Hamas' extremely stupid and self-defeating predilection for lobbing hundreds of missiles into southern Israel. Morons that they are, they're now doing the same thing, while expecting a different result. Perhaps you or someone like you should go there and explain to them the error of their ways.

The blockade was put in place and remains in place as a partially successful effort to prevent rockets and other arms (mostly from Iranian sources) being smuggled into Gaza. It was also an effort to prevent construction materials such as steel and cement, which could have been used to rebuild infrastructure but was in fact being used to build fortifications, from being imported.

If Gaza is a dump, it's the fault of their so-called leaders who put politics before people.

But why am I wasting my breath? You already know all this. You simply choose to ignore the causes and look only at the effects. The Gazans are responsible for nothing, like children, in your book, while the Israelis are responsible for everything. How demeaning to the Gazans. How are those blinders working out for you? Walk into walls much?

And for the record, I find the papier-mache format of your posts deeply foolish. I admit that it does, however, illustrate the maturity of your reasoning.

Apparently you don't think the so-called Dahiya Strategy is a very good one. (By the way, it targets civilian infrastructure, not the civilian population, other than those members of it that Hamas deliberately puts in harm's way to become propaganda pawns.)

Personally, I think it's not only a good strategy, I think it's the only strategy they can employ when confronted by rocket barrages. Especially as opposed to your "strategy", which is that Israel should simply commit national suicide and everyone goes home happy.
