belief is what is important, not so much what you believe, for instance, an ordinary sugar pill without belief helps no one, but with belief it can cure your ills and it can be quite the amazing little pill - the magic really comes from within

Why?
For all the reasons I have said before.
The RC hierarchy have a long yet inglorious and often inhumane history.
The Pope and his inner circle, these are not good men, let alone men who at all live as Jesus spoke about.
Could you see Jesus staying in the best hotels, that pop stars normally hedonistically stay in?
Could you see Jesus flying around in a personal jet, or requiring £20mill in security, to walk among the people?
Of course not.
If the Pope believes in his own god, then he must logically believe that either god would protect him from harm, without the need for armed guards, but if god let him choose to die, then it would also be fine, because god must then have a special mission for the now dead pope.
Therefore, we could see this religous corporation join us plebs in 'austerity', saving millions on protecting the Pope, safe in the knowledge of what I said just there.
On here, lest you dare criticise these false men of Jesus, then you are predictably attacked.
If you dare point out that the hiearchy of the RC Church were complicit in paedophilia by virtue of not reporting cases of it, and moving the sex beast to a new parish, to bugger more boys, then you are attacked for discussing it. I wonder why...
Only an evil construct could do this.
Only something inherently flawed.
And perverse and sick.
Why should it not be said, if it is so?
Why should we hold back, if it can be shown that the RC hiearchy has a long and terrible history for human rights abuse, and what we have learned of in recent times, is just the tiniest tip of the iceberg.
That is why the RC Church favour silencing truth.
They have so v much to hide you see.
Someone once described the Vatican elite and their affiliates, as being 'the worlds largest paedophile ring'.
An over statement? Perhaps not. Do some research on the sheer scale of sex and torture that the RC were complicit in.
And that is only modern victims, and even then, only those have been exposed.
Can you name another org that has spawned a larger number of paeophiles as the RC Church?
Or even another actual dedicated paedophile ring, that were busted?
Also, people have this almost simple notion that the Pope will not have sexual feelings and attractions'because he is the Pope'.
I call BS.
You can argue if he follows through on them or not, but he will think about sex, in some form or another, imo.
Further, if the priests and nuns have routinely proven to be sex beasts and sadists, why would the Pope himself be immune from perversity?
"I am aware how almost impossible it is in this country to carry out a foreign policy [in the Middle East] not approved by the Jews..... terrific control the Jews have over the news media and the barrage the Jews have built up on congressmen .... I am very much concerned over the fact that the Jewish influence here is completely dominating the scene and making it almost impossible to get congress to do anything they don't approve of. So the Pope is an accessory. He was told of the abusers and abuses and simply moved the priests to another location.Accessory to crime
An accessory to a crime is any individual who knowingly and voluntarily participates in the commission of a crime. An accessory is not typically present at the scene of the crime, but contributes to the success of the crime before or after the fact. A person charged as an accessory to a crime before the fact is one who incites, abets, or aids a person in the commission of a criminal act. An individual who is an accessory after the fact receives, shelters, comforts, relieves, or assists a felon after the crime has been committed. A person can be an accessory if they provide any support or assistance, whether financially, emotionally, or factually.
He is also guilty in fact worse because he knew it was happening and did not stop it.
That is why probably we feel more disgust at the shelterer than the abuser. The mother who hid the abusing fathers crimes.

Irrelevant, but no not necessariy depending on what you mean by covering up, In fact it need not be a crime at all. Which justice system? Spouses are usually exceptions regarding accessory to crimes in the courts of Europe and USA. What about Egypt, would she be defined as a pedophile or a rapist maybe on the same basis you regard the Pope as a pedophile?
Again whether or not someone is an accessory to a crime of pedophilia that still does not make them a pedophile! You seem to think that they deserve to be called pedophiles and that's all that matters not whether or not they actually are! That's the logic of one whose second nature is to smear.
You are really stretching the concept of accessory! Which preist abusers was the Pope told about and simply moved to a different location? In fact which abusers at all were able to continue as priests after being found guilty and noit getting a custodial sentence?
Contrary to your claims the Pope seems to have much to tackle the problem:
Prior to 2001, the primary responsibility for investigating allegations of sexual abuse and disciplining perpetrators rested with the individual dioceses. In 2001, Ratzinger convinced John Paul II to put the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in charge of all investigations and policies surrounding sexual abuse in order to combat such abuse more efficiently. According to John L. Allen, Jr., Ratzinger in the following years "acquired a familiarity with the contours of the problem that virtually no other figure in the Catholic church can claim" and "driven by that encounter with what he would later refer to as 'filth' in the church, Ratzinger seems to have undergone something of a 'conversion experience' throughout 2003–04. From that point forward, he and his staff seemed driven by a convert's zeal to clean up the mess". In his role as Head of the CFD, he "led important changes made in church law: the inclusion in canon law of internet offences against children, the extension of child abuse offences to include the sexual abuse of all under 18, the case by case waiving of the statute of limitation and the establishment of a fast-track dismissal from the clerical state for offenders. As the Head of the CDF, Ratzinger developed a reputation for handling these cases. According to Charles J. Scicluna, a former prosecutor handling sexual abuse cases, "Cardinal Ratzinger displayed great wisdom and firmness in handling those cases, also demonstrating great courage in facing some of the most difficult and thorny cases, sine acceptione personarum (without exceptions)".
One of the cases Ratzinger pursued involved Father Marcial Maciel Degollado, a Mexican priest and founder of the Legion of Christ, who had been accused repeatedly of sexual abuse. Biographer Andrea Tornielli suggested that Cardinal Ratzinger had wanted to take action against Marcial Maciel Degollado, but that John Paul II and other high-ranking officials, including several cardinals and notably the pope's influential secretary Stanisław Dziwisz, prevented him from doing so. According to Jason Berry, Angelo Sodano "pressured" Cardinal Ratzinger, who was "operating on the assumption that the charges were not justified", to halt the proceedings against Maciel in 1999 When Maciel was honored by the Pope in 2004, new accusers came forward and Cardinal Ratzinger "took it on himself to authorize an investigation of Maciel" After Ratzinger became pope he began proceedings against Maciel and the Legion of Christ that forced Maciel out of active service in the church. On 1 May 2010 the Vatican issued a statement denouncing Maciel's "very serious and objectively immoral acts", which were "confirmed by incontrovertible testimonies" and represent "true crimes and manifest a life without scruples or authentic religious sentiment." Pope Benedict also said he would appoint a special commission to examine the Legionaries’ constitution and open an investigation into its lay affiliate Regnum Christi. Cardinal Christoph Schönborn explained that Ratzinger "made entirely clear efforts not to cover things up but to tackle and investigate them. This was not always met with approval in the Vatican". According to Schönborn, Cardinal Ratzinger had pressed John Paul II to investigate Hans Hermann Groër, an Austrian cardinal and friend of John Paul accused of sexual abuse, resulting in Groër's resignation.

Interesting, so accessories to crimes are punished more harshly than those actually committing the offence in your Islamic based system, or are you talking out of the top of your head?
You bet that nuns are involved! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34260091...d-abuse-cases/
According to the article there are now (2009) some 14,000 victims of Catholic abuse worldwide, seeking some $1.5 billion in compensation.

Ya see, here' how it is. One who covers for pedophiles is guilty of cover-up, not guilty of pedophilia. It is possible that he is a pedophile, but it is possible that you are, too.Oh so those that cover for pedophiles can't be pedophiles themselves ok
