Israel does not need foreign aid—it is a wealthy nation with a booming hi-tech sector. Weaknesses elsewhere in the economy are largely self-inflicted through collectivist economic practices. Moreover, Israel is a regional military superpower. If anything, the transfers should run in the other direction.

Official Iranian news agency, no less. Perhaps you can produce Israeli quotes, calling Iran a cancer cell, accusing it of illegitimacy and promising to erase it (Iran, not its nuclear weapons program) from the pages of time? We are all ears.

All that has been done already on a prior thread. Israel is clearly the aggressor and should be condemned by the UN for it.

And if it wasn't for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan which were started at Israel's behest, we could reduce the military and the national debt even further.

I'm shocked at how myopic a large number of US citizens are...how is it that everyone else can see that Israel has a fiendish stranglehold on YOUR country. They practically own and operate your country. And by supporting this aid package to a country that doesn't need it in the slightest, you are indirectly posting support for a war with Iran.
