Default Wingnut Super-Pundit Calls Iraq Fiasco "Civil War"

Quote:
Iraq: A Civil War We Can Still Win
By Charles Krauthammer
(…)
The other rationale for withdrawal is that the war is lost and therefore it is unconscionable to make one more American soldier die for a cause that cannot be salvaged.
It is a serious argument from which we have been distracted during the past several months by the increasingly absurd debate over the meaning of the term "civil war," and whether Iraq is in one.
Of course it is.
It began when the Sunni minority, unwilling to accept the finality of the Baathist defeat, began making indiscriminate war on the Kurdish-Shiite majority that had inherited the country as a result of the U.S. invasion. (…)

Swiftboaters... any torpedoes left for the scariest looking man in the USA?

Have you anything relevant to say today about the cabbage banger's "Civil War" announcement or are you just deflective, like JP?

after vociferously complaining about it. At least when I make a short post there is something substantive in it as opposed to an empty post pointing out the irrelevant fact that Krauthammer is in a wheelchair just so he could make a flippant remark.

Default Its an imprtant question...

I think most people would agree the question of whether Iraq is indeed in a Civil War is quite relevant. If the three factions of the country want a fight to the death to determine if Iraq will be unified or split up, I am quite sure the US has no basis whatsoever in continuing to drop bombs and spill blood in that desert country.

Its pretty clear now why only someone like Hussein could hold that country together - similar to Tito in Yugoslavia. They are not ready for democracy.

Any sentient creature with an IQ above his shoelace length can see how many of your posts use a headline only, or something so incredibly servile that I constantly expect to hear you licking someone's hand, sobbing joyously---grateful they Gave You a Thought to hold to your waiflike chest and cherish as your very own. The bathos, mon ami, the bathos!....

As for flippant, will the other poltroon please explain the cabbage references, in those terribly unenlightened offerings, above? So it's OK to hammer a handicapped guy for his ethnicity? Is that how you want to play this?

Then why must the world allow their technology to improve where they DO present legitimate threats to global stability? How many cities must be destroyed before liberals realize the true problem we face?

First, what is wrong with saying something was a good post. It that some breach of etiquette or something? Second, when I do post something (or anybody else for that matter) you either A, twist the words, B, attack the poster, or C, say something intelligent like: prove it. I think you are jealous that I have more stars than you and even with all your bloviating you still can't catch up.

This sentence is a mess. Please re-write it and focus on clarity.

Your posting is a neat example of bathos.

Kraut is the German word for cabbage. Kraut Hammer could be a cabbage pounder. [Poltroon is nice... nonsensical, but nice.]

You have become hysterical. No one referenced the cabbage banger's ethnicity and until you mentioned it, I didn't know he was wheelchair bound.

What is the true problem we face and if the problem is in Iraq what is the answer since we haven't found it yet?

I need alittle help with something. Republicans control Congress, the WH, the SC and pretty much everything else that is government in this country, but when you talk to Repubs or Conservatives all of the ills in this country is the fault of Democrats or Liberals. You freakin control everything, you right policy do you think it is time to start looking at the man in the mirror.

Peace.
