It really is that simple.
Have you ever heard of any tyrant or bully invading anyone without dredging up at least one of thos pathetic old excuses?

What was the excuse for Iraq? "We felt we were about to be attacked"? With weapons that didn't actually exist!!!

Oh boy another armchair quarterback. Apparently you were born in 2003 and don't remember the previous 12 years that the Clinton administration told us Saddam had WMD and the UN imposed harsh sanctions against Iraq for blocking and stalling UN inspectors.

And apparently YOU know better than nearly every data source prior to the war which believed he had WMD including not just the US but the UK, Australia, and even countries like Russia and France who believe d he had WMD although they opposed the war.

Maybe the oil for food scandal or a million different political reasons. Fact is both Russia and France were on record saying they believed most likely that Saddam had or was producing WMD but did not believe war was the answer.

But never mind them, Bill Clinton told us the same thing for 8 years and bombed Iraq over it in 1998. The UK and other countries saw their own data and came to the same conclusion. But this was all a lie and the Bush administration coordinated it? Even before taking office in 2001?
