If he was captured in Russia, Burma, Lebanon or Northern Ireland then maybe they wouldn't have mentioned the word "arab" lol.
They still would have been arab wherever they were.

Actually, what you're describing is literally terrorism, when you think about it. That's the supposed logic behind explosions in peaceful places -- fear will make you back down!

It's never worked in the history of forever, incidentally, but never mind that. Scaring your enemy sort of feels good, so a lot of people are in favor of it. Even if it hurts your chances of winning in the long-term, many people will go with what feels good in the short-term.

Let me put it like this, to explain why I'm (respectfully) opposed to your way of thinking -- we know that Americans have been tortured. Does that make you want to fight less?

It certainly doesn't make me want to fight less. But it's best not to let yourself be manipulated in any direction by your enemy.

What's more, it can make people who weren't otherwise inclined to fight into fighters.

All a bunch of ridiculous garbage put out by anti-Iraq partisan liberal zealots. The war in Iraq has not caused al Qaeda to become stronger; it has only brought them out of the woodwork where they can be found and eliminated. Not to mention squelching Iran's expansionist agenda.

Talk about someone falling hook line and sinker for every bit of propaganda… I mean, you haven’t figured anything out yet.

People hating outsiders meddling in their affairs, occupying their countries, killing their women and children and controlling their recourses will continue forever.

Calling them by some made up name “Al Qaeda” won’t help… it’s just to give simpletons the illusion of something body or organization that can be overcome.

Those devils who run our leaders and exploit our military want continuous war and conflict because it makes them money.

And it’s a shame there are plenty of ignorant, gullible and hateful people ready to hate support such a thing.

Uh, btw, the guy HAS NOT been Captured.

And the reward for him has been slashed, because "he's lost effectiveness and is no longer worth such a steep price."

So, whoever this guy is, he's not all that important, and we didn't catch him.

Nice thread.

Hurray now you can sleep better!

My first read, and first post on here, and WOW you guys are really scared ??

What will your response be when you find out that Abu Ayyub al-Masri was not only hired, but instigated by the CIA . When he was paid $400,000 USD to basically act? And that isn't his real name, thats the name with the photo. What perfect plot for the 'war on terror' brain washing to drive fear in you, and purpose for the Iraq war. News folks, your feeding on some sick individuals, and if you don't wake up and smell the coffee soon all I can say is what you humans call Darwinism shall apply. Expand your mind folks, All I have is my words to help you. Be more careful who you let control your brain.

You need to find what the real problem is.
