I read this last response because I believe in open and free debate, and don't want to be accused of simply ignoring people because they disagree. I am accused of it nonetheless, but since I engage with adversaries with enough discipline to avoid personal attacks and stick to the topic, I assume that most readers that notice/care don't agree.

However, I see this as a pretty typical response from you, having read many of your posts. Perhaps this is why:

Actually, a mature response would be not to respond at all. Personally, I rarely waste my time with posts I view as idiotic. Actually, I never waste my time with posts that I believe are idiotic, hence my use of the ignore list.

I'm afraid I don't agree that a mature response would be to not respond at all. I always respond to things posted that I notice. I'm interested in all opinions and never put anyone on Ignore.

I guess we are just different this way.

I suggest those of you who advocate regime change in Myanmar pick up your guns and head over there and do it yourselves, because no one else is going to do it for you.

To bad our government is banning civilian ownership of assault weapons. They would be useful. So instead the government should do it, and our kids would be safe, but you should have aborted yours or given them up for collective ownership or something.

The government does not have the support of its people and it would not be like Iraq. They people have democratically elected Aung San Soo Kyi or however you spell it and the monks would lead the people to a democratic government. I would be quite willing to take the banner over there.

AND IT WOULD SAY MISSION ACCOMPLISHED IN BURMA, NOT MYANMAR. MYANMAR IS THE NAME THE OPPRESSIVE JUNTA GAVE THE COUNTRY.

Most likely and best outcome will be that the people will see their leadership for the evil scum they are and overthrow them. As far as America is concerned, in the opinion of this American, its simply not our responsibility. Let some of our most vocal critics do it if they want. They are so awesome they shouldn't need our help to invade and forcibly feed these people. Fortunately, I know W is a little more focused on using our military to deal with the people trying to murder out citizens with sneak attacks while they pose as civilians.
