What's this? No Mothers Day? You have got to be joking. Mothers Day in Australia is today, and it's always a wonderful occasion to get together with family and tell our mothers how much we appriciate them. I can't believe anyone could actually vote against them.

Yeah, it's an international holiday, with a long tradition state-side, too.

Year and a half? There's an understatement. This sort of BS politics has been the norm for a lot longer than a year an a half. Both sides pull this stuff when they are the minority. Then they mock each other for it when they are the majority.

If the minority party did not represent an obstruction, then we would have a super-powerful, dictatorial, authoritarian, and tyrannical government. There is a reason the founding fathers wanted to prevent this. Otherwise you liberals would be out going "Change, heil", "Change, heil" to attacking anyone who disagrees with them, who would then be the super-powerful, dictatorial, authoritarian, and tyrannical government. We need a libertarian to win the election, no matter what.
