Alabama Attorney General Troy King, a conservative Republican Christian who has called homosexuality the 'downfall of society,' has been caught with his pants down—literally—in a gay sex scandal. King was reportedly nabbed having sex with a male assistant by his wife, Paige King, in the couple’s own bed.

After being caught having sex with his male aide by his wife, Alabama Attorney General Troy King was reportedly banished from his home in Montgomery by his infuriated spouse, according to PerezHilton.com. Although reports about the scandal are sketchy and the events have yet to be confirmed by official sources, some media outlets are reporting that King is preparing to resign over the affair.

King, considered a potential frontrunner for Alabama Governor in 2010, has been vocal in his condemnation of homosexuality and abortion. He has worked to outlaw sex toys and is a staunch supporter of the death penalty. King previously served as Assistant Attorney General and was appointed to Attorney General by Alabama Governor Bob Riley in 2004.

As a law student at the University of Alabama, King wrote frequent editorials for The Crimson White in condemnation of gays, affirmative action and abortion. In his editorials for the student newspaper, King called homosexuality the ‘downfall of society’ and said AIDS could be cleansed from America if “this nation’s current purveyors of perversion would refrain from committing sodomy.”

The important difference being that, once found out, the RNC will ostricise the lying, hypocritical perverts not promote them to increasing levels of responsibility their unprepared to accept like the DNC.
Eventually, the DNC will promote perverts and incompetence to positions like, oh, I don't know - president?

I'm no Obama fan but tell me how the accusations are the same. Did Ms. Obama catch Barak in a squeeze play on the cheating side of town? Has Obama railed on - as Republicans do - about homosexuality as guy from Alabama did?

Troy King wasn't a pervert. He was simply a coward and a homosexual and an adulterer.

Your obviously a family values Republican so maybe you can help me understand this. Why is it that the Republican states have more divorce, more teen pregnancies and more out of wedlock births?
