Lets not be foolish, this has nothing to do with technology. This has everything to do with common sense of how manpower works. The fact is, Israel has no where near enough active troops to invade Iran or do anything more then attempt to carpet bomb them. You see where carpet bombing got US in Vietnam....no where. The US doesn't even have enough active troops to invade Iran, attempting to invade Iran was be devastating and many experts have agreed. Iran claim to have 10 million active troops. But, lets assume their military is successful defeated, looking at Iran national pride, they could possibly have the entire population attempting to kick US and Israel out with full fledged attacks consisting of millions of people.
Now, Iran has missiles that can reach Israel. This means that firstly, Iran could bomb Israel just as much as Israel can bomb Iran. It would basically by a war of missiles, and lets not forget that Israel small amount of land and small population would be a disadvantage to Israel in that type of warfare. Now, other then missiles, Israel has air power, but Iran has outstandingly improved their anti-air defenses thanks to Russia. It would not be known at air strike would prove to be effect in a long term war until the war has actually begun. So, it would basically be a war based on carpet bombing, which would not be effective and would only make other Islamic nations hostile towards Israel and place them in more danger.
Please do not even bring up Israel missile defenses, they can't even stop cheap Palestine missiles for god sake.
