The Guardian newspaper is NOT a "broadsheet" and we all in Britain loving refer to the Guardian newspaper as "the Grauniad"

It comes from that paper's infamous high frequency of spelling mistakes! and once famously they even misspelt their own name! printing "Grauniad" at the top of the page.
