Default SIR Paul McCartney has been threatened

Those terrorist Palestinians, such a friendly religious group, don't you think? Maybe the world will finally see these people for what they are...terrorists in the worst sense of the word. I'm sure Paul feels that way.

http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/...e-plays-Israel

“Instead of supporting the people of Palestine in their suffering, McCartney is celebrating the atrocities of the occupiers. The one who is under occupation is supposed to be getting the help.

“And so I believe for Paul McCartney, what he is doing really is creating more enemies than friends.”

Explaining his comments, Bakri told the Sunday Express: “Our enemy’s friend is our enemy.

“Thus Paul McCartney is the enemy of every Muslim. We have what we call ‘sacrifice’ operatives who will not stand by while he joins in a celebration of their oppression.

“If he values his life Mr McCartney must not come to Israel. He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him.”

sir paul would be wise to schedule a concert in a Palestinian populated community soon after his israeli venture

he could then blow it off once he leaves the israeli venue, if he truly has no inclination to doing anything to recognize the Palestinian cause. at least he would lessen his chances of being a target in isreal if his presence was positively anticipated in the Palestinian territory

or, he could go thru with it to show he truly is about peace and friendship ... how better to express it

too bad John Lennon is not alive to explain to sir paul to do the right thing (hint, celebrating a country that refused to admit you in '65 because you were a bad influence is not it)

Whatever......much ado about nothing. I hope they all feel tough and heroic about threatening 60 something year old musicans. if they want to make a point, go down to Iraq, find some marines on patrol and threaten then

Then we would know how tough and brave they really are

i think he would have felt the same sting in the different direction if he had done a Palestinian concert and refused to perform in israel

as was conveyed, 'the friend of my enemy is my enemy' is a belief that is deeply entrenched in the middle eastern culture

which is why i think he should perform for both ... in a genuine interest of peace and friendship

So why is he obligated to make it political? He has a right to play where ever he wants, but not according to terrorists. The terrorists quest for peace is non-existent, it is a lie. Until they wipe Israel off the map as ahmedine-a-fraud continues to say, yeah, great peace offering.

Interesting, and might I say patently dishonest spin. Nowhere in the article did it indicate McCartney REFUSED to play for Palestinians. There was no indication whatsoever that he was ever invited to do so, nor that his doing so had even been discussed.

Your injection of the word "refused" into the discussion displays an agenda at work here rather than any attempt to evaluate the situation truthfully.

If he agreed to play a concert in Raleigh, is it only natural for people in Charlotte to want to kill him? Only a complete idiot would think so.

i do agree that only a complete idiot would agree with, or even offer up, your analogy as being comparable

Try some honesty.

You might find it refreshing.

why do i think you are proposing your version of honesty where israeli murder of innocents is found to be acceptable collateral damage but Palestinian boys throwing rocks in their homeland deserve to be punished by israeli bullets

you hold on to your special brand of refreshing, zionist truth
