Default the end of the charade

so much for the "we are a deomcracy" charade

Quote:
Israel Bans Arab Parties From Election. By a margin of 26-3 arab partie disqualified from israeli elections.

The Arab parties earned the ire of the most hawkish elements in the Israeli government by publicly opposing the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip. Balad likewise made enemies by explicitly calling for equal rights for all citizens of Israel, regardless of national or ethnic identity, which the ruling Kadima Party said would “undermine Israel’s identity as a Jewish state.”...

During the discussion, Balad Chairman Jamal Zahaika called the move to ban his party “a test for Israeli democracy” and asked Avigdor Lieberman, the driving force behind the ban, “Why are you afraid of democracy?”
as i said before this is all coming to a head.

Well that's not very democratic now is it. Does this mean the excuse to send billions of dollars a year to them is over? Can we get a refund?

hahahaha, not sure who gave me the rep point on the refund, but thanks. I won't be heading back to DC anytime soon to hold my breath. I appreciate the points either way, even if the person wasn't adult enough to address me in thread.

Good.

If a party seeks to overthrow an existing consititution, chosen by a free people, whether arab or khafir, then that party should not engage in the political process.

People need to wake up to a simple truth: Muslims only approve the electoral process when Muslims are in the majority. Otherwise they'll just try to kill everyone else, so that no one else is in the majority. To a Muslim, Islam must be the premier political and religious doctrine of the land, or else there is jihad. I realize this is a grossly categorical condemnation of Islam, but in essense it is true. A Muslim does not exist that does not wish Sharia to be the law of the land.

Actually, you're completely wrong. This is the definition of democracy. They voted, and with an overwhelming majority, banned the Arab party.

hehehehe, serious? We can do that here too? Democratically eliminate a party from being involved in our politics? Sweet, I feel a whole new campaign slogan coming.

That slogan better be: "Hamas, don't kill me please. Merely emasticulate me, because I'm a dog that's not worthy of your respect."

Missed it Bobcat, the slogan needs to be something like "bannish the evil from DC, no more D, no more R"

Nice turn of a phrase, sab, but in essense I'm not kidding. Even Barak Obama openly supports Israel, because he's seen the ugly face of what Hamas and Palestine have become.
