Fitz told you this is case about lying, and I submit that is right. Not a case about bad memory or forgetting. Libby does claim he forgot 9 separate conversations over a 4 week period, but he also invents out of whole cloth, two conversations that never happened. His conversation with Cooper and his conversation with Russert. That's not a matter of forgetting or misremembering, it's lying.

but what is the damage to them for indulging in the pardon...especially if a convicted libby will flip on cheney in return for a lighter sentence.
in short, they may NEED to protect themselves

a pardon now would be a disaster for fundraising and RNC's stop the Hillary express or "who's that muslim guy?"

a pardon later can be washed away by a boss protecting an employee rather than protecting himself or Cheney.

Fitz made a clear case that there is a shadow over Cheney.....

But what leak was it that Libby was charged with?

I can smell the leftie loons seething over this one, but hold on to your aclu card, you just may be disappointed.

You said he leaked information, are you a lying liberal like most on this forum?

I'd make sure you keep you mouth covered, because what your are spewing could be contagious.

I can't wait for the verdict, because if he is found innocent, you will be going back to the store for more of your Depends.
