I agree. Such a case of "literal interpretation" trivializes the very definition of sex-offender. Good thinking on that judge's part.

Who cares what he disagrees with? His daughter had consensual sex with a room full of men. So he's got little room to complain. They were taking what was freely offered. The fact his daughter is a two bit tramp is the real issue he needs to worry about.

I have to say, my first reaction was going to be Stekim "you've been smoking something", but on second thoughts, 10 years looks a bit harsh. If he'd been caught doing it I still think he should have served some kind of sentence though. Why does him doing with a host of other child molesters matter though?

Dude was NOT a "sex offender." "Deviate," maybe. But not an "offender" in a logical sense.

He was 17. She was 15. I don't consider that a crime. It was consensual and both parties knew exactly what they were doing. As you can imagine, this was not her first sexual encounter.

Oh I get you, because they were both underage it was'nt that bad. I guess you have to be over 21 to do it over there huh? [i'm not being scarcastic by the way] WHY does it matter that she had consented to sex before. Two opposing trans-alantic views you have right here, [it seems that way to me anyway]

The law in question here was the problem. If they had sex, he would have been fine. Oral sex carried a heavy sentence. It made no sense.
