Nah it's not that bad...I don't mind... We all have opinions... The thing that seperates lawyers from the rest; Is the right ( after sworn in as practicing attorney ) to motion just about anything in front of a judge... Knowledge can be gained by anyone... I have had clients who knew just about as much as I did... But because he's not a lawyer? He doesn't have a chance in hell to defend himself in a civil law suit...

May I ask you a question, the question is If a client admis his guilt to you in a non civil case, what is your advice to your client?

Ps I had a great friend who worked long and hard for E M I as a lawyer on one case the Beatles royalty issue.

He then became a V P in LA for another "Major" but succumbed to the delights of "Marching Powder"

I've asked my brother that several times - what happens if you think you are prosecuting the wrong guy? He said there are avenues to deal with that kind of thing. You don't just have to go ahead and prosecute someone you think is innocent, or defend someone you think is guilty. Note, I said `you don't have to'. I'm sure there are lawyers out there who do - all the time.
