Default Man in jail based on wrong fingerprint.

Fingerprints lifted from the scene of the October 2005 murder of Regan Wheeler identified Presnell. But GBI officials said a Crime Lab print examiner used the wrong prints.
He's been in jail 3 years because they got a match on prints that weren't his. Jeez.

I would be pissed. Getting your life back would be very hard.

That's why we need to hurry up the execution process. The sooner we execute people like him, the sooner we can cover up these types of mistakes

He's only been in jail a year and a half, and he might not be innocent. They had some evidence pointing to him or they wouldn't have compared his fingerprints. Their evidence is not enough to convict him though.

The scary part to me is that the prints did not match; they were similar.

He could have done it. The other evidence wasn't in the article, so I can't say. But the mix up is the scary part. In Georgia every person with a driver's license is fingerprinted. So that means anyone without a rock solid alibi could have spent the last 2 years in jail.

I was always against the fingerprint on the drivers license. Treating civilians like criminals, is criminal.

I hear you. But they do A LOT of things I disagree with. If you want a license here you have to be fingerprinted.
