Not surprised you don't find anything wrong with it. Just par for the course.

Peace.

1:07-1:09 or so CRACKER.
It was clear as day. Next time watch what your referring to.

Lenny Bruce was right..
Funny how comedians are really good at portraying the idiocy of people like you.

Michael Richards blew up..it was a mistake... he apologized.
Pretty much the end of it.

Default Kramer

Lenny Bruce was right. Words shouldn't have power like that. Just using the n-word doesn't mean you are a racist. Shouting it several times will get you close. But Richards' comment about the fork put him over the top, IMO. In one night he damaged the legacy of a show that went 10 years.

Michael Richards doesn't belong on stage. I think he's mad because he will always be Kramer. That's who everyone goes to see, not Michael Richards. His only real laughs come from Kramer moves, not jokes. I've written heckler comebacks myself. Comedians should be ready with several of them depending on the situation. It's not that hard.

You are correct he did call him a Cracker @$$ MF after they had been called a N!&&er about 10 times, but that doesn't excuse it.

Actually you need to look at the man in the mirror.

Michael Richards blew up..it was a mistake...

A mistake? A mistake is unintentional departure from right this was willful. Forgetting what time an appointment is now thats a mistake.

he apologized.

On David Letterman give me a break.

Pretty much the end of it.

You are probably right which proves the point.

Peace.

I remember him for his silly roles in obscure '80s comedies. He played the wacky servant in Transylvania 6-5000 and the wacky terrorist in Whoops! Apocolypse!

Default They say

that the truth comes out when you are ANGRY or DRUNK!!

I do not like to throw the "racist card" around too much (the only racist I have encountered on here in the true sense was EUP) but watching Michael Richards on that tape told me that this is a man who has some deep deep negative feelings towards black people.

His tirade went on for a while..even when people were objecting in the audience..even when people began to leave..

This is not the first time he has been up on stage and I am sure not the first time he has been heckled. So...what gives? Plus, I did not hear the hecklers throw out "cracker"..He was being heckled coz he was NOT being funny and that happens to comedians all the time...

I am saddened coz I really liked him as Kramer.

I know one thing though: He would NOT have tried this at the APOLLO!!

Yes, it IS words. Even to you. Words are vibrating air, thats it. It isnt like getting stabbed or shot. Words arent like some kind of magic weapon.

You choose to make yourself vulnerable to words. Just like everyone else.

I'm sorry you've chosen to make yourself vulnerable to words. Probably makes life a lot more difficult than it needs to be.
