Default HAPPY BIRTHDAY?

The United Kingdom is 300 years old today.

Will Scotland ever be free of their English political oppressors?

Default HappyBirthday!

As to the question - do you really want to be?

Gordon has been setting a few of his countrymen straight on this issue of late. How do you feel about it?

The Union seems to have worked out well for both of you, as far as I can see.

Default .

Yes time for full Independence - outwith of the EU !!!!!

Gordon Brown = house negro

The World success of the Union is in the past - we have created the modern World Industrial/Polictical/economic etc etc etc now let them look after themselves as Scotland needs to look after its own interests.

I was refering to Scottsh Independence and the typical little englander responce is to belittle Scotland instead of looking to your own future.

Default Like a teenager...

....whining about a lack of freedom whilst eagerly grabbing at his pocket money.

And who will subsidise you after independence? (And that`s today! Imagine in 2020 when the North Sea oil runs dry?)

The only reason this issue gets raised today is that Scotland sees, in the EU, another Sugar Daddy to pay the bills.

But, hey-ho, go if go you must. We`ll be all cut up about it down here, of course, but never mind that. We`ll survive and with the money we save we can buy brand new bells for our Morris Dancing outfits.

Default the monkey

Well as soon as we get the monkey off our backs - then we can make our own destin, desire, destiny (yes that's it!)

My only concern is that we lack the pedigree of politician that can forge Scotland's Independent future and not just sell us down the EU river and enslave us again.

Don't for gord sake tell the eng-er-lish about the new directional drilling techniques, or like greedy bug eyed children standing outside the sweet shop the soor plooms will get stolen again to fund their silly habbits

Join the club...thought the EU is not all bad; it is, regrettably, what our inept political elites have made it.
