Default another brain fart from Fox....

Here's Megyn Kendall reporting on the anti-war march in DC:

"About five thousand people participated, and I'll bet that most of them have never served".

That one's so juicy, it really oughta go into "classic quotes".....

This if true (highly doubtful) is NOTHING compared to the liberal media. People in the pro-life movement for a long time remember "The March That Never Was". Every january, prolife demonstrators converge on DC to protest Roe v. Wade on its anniversary. Because of the time of year, there is a wide variation in participation mostly depending on the weather. One year in the early nineties (before Fox broke the liberal TV news monopoly), about 250,000 people marched, and there was not a single story about it on the TV news.

She may very well be. I wouldn't know. I got a very high lottery number in the very last year of the draft during Vietnam, I was "exactly that old" where they stopped the war just before my number came up.

But I'm finding out all kinds of interesting things about Vietnam vets these days - part of that, is through this cancer thing, 'cause I've been meeting an awful lot of those folks in the pot clubs in LA - and it's like my God, I never knew there were so many of 'em - Agent Orange victims and like that -

And they're getting no help from the government, except that on a good day the feds will turn their backs and let these guys smoke a little pot....

I mean, it's really atrocious, some of the treatment we give to our veterans.

And the whole Walter Reed thing and like that.

I'm not sure I'd want to be a vet in today's world. The retirement benefits aren't looking too good, know what I mean?

Um... what do you mean? I mean, back up the numbers, or back up the fact that these screwed-up vets exist, or back up the claim that they're going to pot clubs, or back up the idea that they're not getting "much" help from the government, or....???

Yeah - I do that 'cause I like to get angry.

A little self-righteous anger feels really good in the early evening.....

Fox News is good for entertainment. You really can't watch one of their supposed "News" shows without hearing something that just shocks you. My favorite one was during live coverage of Bush's 2005 Inauguration, some anchor said this gem (paraphrased): "George Bush clearly has the boldest president of any president in history."
