Default Chris Matthews speaks

http://www.examiner.com/blogs/Yeas_a...e-on-my-bosses

Quote:
In front of an audience that included such notables as Alan Greenspan, Rep. Patrick Kennedy and Sen. Ted Kennedy, Matthews began his remarks by declaring that he wanted to "make some news" and he certainly didn't disappoint.
Quote:
"They've finally been caught in their criminality," Matthews continued, although he did not specify the exact criminal behavior to which he referred.
Keep flappin' Chris. FoxNews is loving all the new viewership.

Default You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.

What a strange thing for him to say. He thinks the WH tried to influence the editorial content of his show? Sheesh. Doesn't he know about the GQ article Hillary got shelved? Doesn't he know about Reid's Senate rant about Limbaugh? What an idiot.

I guess it's not "influence" when a socialist does it.

Here's what Matthews said about the Clinton Administration in reference to influencing HIS BOSS.

Quote:
The Clinton camp, he said, never put pressure on his bosses to silence him.
Here's what Matthews said about the BUSH Administration in reference to influencing HIS BOSS.

Quote:
“Not so this crowd,” he added, explaining that Bush White House officials -- especially those from Vice President Cheney's office -- called MSNBC brass to complain about the content of his show and attempted to influence its editorial content. "They will not silence me!" Matthews declared
Since you weren't there, you don't really know. You may not like what Matthews said but he most likely knows more than you do in reference to THIS SITUATION.

Well, gee....do ya think it was because Matthews is a talking head for the socialist party? OF COURSE the Clinton administration didn't have anything bad to say about him...Matthews didn't have anything bad to say about THEM!

Thanks for the clarification, Captain Obvious.

You must only watch fox news. Matthews said plenty of bad things about the Clintons in the past; still does.

Here's one example, 12th will appreciate this one.

Maybe you ought to flip the station now and then and give fox news a break. Matthew's may be a little more fair and balanced than the fair and balanced station.

Default a true conservative

Quote:

a true conservative would stand up against that behavior from the White House - even while trying to draw comparisons to other attempts to silence by liberals.

but, there are no more conservatives to be found.

Denial. It's too difficult to admit that they we're wrong voting for G.W. twice. It's much easier to demonize anyone that points out this administration's weaknesses.

Libs like Matthews are showing a bit of sour grapes. That's because the Dem majority is geting beat every which way but loose!! Let's count all the ways they've been beaten of late:

Recently, they got beat on their attempt to expand the SCHIP's program to include "kids" who are 24 and for families who make $82,000 per year. They do NOT have the votes to override Bush's veto.

Pelosi vowed that if the Dems Surveillance bill passed in Committe she woud bring it to the floor for a vote. It passed in Committee, but she did NOT bring it to the floor as she has realized they'd be beaten and she doesn't want that to happen. So, it's gone by the wayside.

Senate Majority Leader Reid stood on the floor and besmirched a private citizen; Rush Limbaugh----spending more than one whole day on trying to silence Rush. Another Dem leader brought up Rush's drug problem as he hit below the belt. And now----ALL that is backfiring on these clowns as Rush has put the original Reid letter to Rush's boss up for bid on eBay. The bid is now at over $117,000. Rush will match whatever it goes for and ALL the proceeds will go to the families of fallen Marines.

All in all----the Dems have NOT been having a good week.
