I have caught Glenn Beck on tv every once in awhile. Every time I watch him I can't remember if his name was Joe Scarborough, Sean Hannity or Chris Mathews. All political hacks from my perspective. But while shopping for holiday gifts and finding myself stuck in the political section of my barnes and noble, I found myself reading Glenn Beck's new book. After reading the first chapter in his book, I now know who Glenn Beck is.
Glenn Beck is a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*). Glenn Beck's new book is called "An Inconvenient Book" OHH HAHAHAHAHAH, Jesus Christ, what a great title! I don't care about what views on global warming you have, but lets just say Glenn Beck is one of the few that doesn't believe global warming is really happening because of human causes. Fine, okay, whatever. It's "his" opinion, so let him have it. Then he goes to state his opinion. Now when reading his awkward prose and ridiculous rants that were supposed to be funny, I found myself thinking "wow, this sounds very similar to another opinion I have read." Not thinking too much, I continued reading. Beck's opinion slowly became more similar the longer I read. Michael Criton is a novel writer, I think we all know this. His latest book, "State of Fear" is a fictional story dealing with the real aspect of Global Warming. However, Criton's book and subsequent lectures have revealed that Criton himself does not perceive that the Global Warming phenomena is really an emergency and human causes are minimal if not misunderstood. Despite his obviously lacking credentials in the field of climate research, Criton uses past examples of "great scares" to prove his point. Whatever, its his opinion. Now to Glenn Beck's book. When I got about half-way through the first chapter I put the book down. I couldn't take Criton's opinions being passed off as Beck's. Not only that, but the sources he provided were just ridiculous or at the very least, skeptical. His crappy jokes and horrible logic made me throw the book down in disgust and rant for an hour to friends about how much I hate Glenn Beck. I am not one to use ad-hominem as a means of pushing my point, but Glenn Beck is a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), just look at this picture: (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)y Picture I rest my case.

I don't watch CNN or CNN-HN anymore..I know he's upset Keith Olbermann though.
.... so its all good. I agree with his take on Democrats and their stance on Iraq. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP.../24/gb.01.html "Hey, look, we were just -- we're just like you, you know, liberal hippie communists. We tried, but the president is a big, bad man and he won't let us."-Glenn Beck. |

What's not to know? He's pretty open about his background! He's an addictive natured (whiskey and cocaine) top 40 DJ that became famous making prank calls. He started working for the GOP as a mouthpiece, where he got rich enough to become a Mormon and now he is one of the many Rush Limbaugh wanna be's, who now has a cable program on the Channel he used to despise ridicule publicly on a daily basis?
In the mean time there is real talent out there who cannot get any air time at the local AM station, to start a career, because all they need is someone to make sure the commercial loops work properly, the volume is set right for the transmitter and the generator kicks in if a storm takes out the broadcast!

But it is true... The man is a sopping wet (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*). And so arrogant. Most of these commentators are just incredibly arrogant know-it-alls, who in truth know nothing.
