I am here to pose a question. I have seen Farenheit 9/11 and listened to Rush on the radio. I hear Moore quote sources more than Rush but who really has more credibility?

Moore is the anti-Limbaugh. I think he was Rush Limbaugh in some alternate universe where everything is reversed. Same methods. Same lack of intellectual honesty. Same charm and intelligence that can wear thin after about 5 minutes. Same clearly identifiable strings we can find attached to both of these rotund puppets.

Moore provides sources.

Limbaugh! I don't always agree with the guy, but he is pretty smart and doesn't outright lie as much as Moore does. I put Moore on the same level as Coulter, Rush above that level.

Truebrit, I am sure you have read a lot of my posts defending Moore under the O'Reily interview thread. I do not demonize the guy. In fact, I took a lot of effort to clarify some of his positions that were being misrepresented.

Still, for him to say Bush was a liar even after he admitted Bush did not realize his information was incorrect is intellectually dishonest. It mispresents Bush's intentions in a willful manner.

Moore is pushing an agenda like everyone else and he is willing to misreprent facts to achieve his political goals.

As for the comparisons to Limbaugh, they are not supposed to be exact. Just taking a poke at two plus sized partisan talking heads. Thats all.

I honestly do not know how much either Moore or Limbaugh lie, but I do know both can take a fact and spin a lot of things around it until the "fact" totally misrepresents what happened. They are both extreemly bright men and masters of their craft.

Still, I think its dishonest for them to spin things so selectively to their agendas.

Neither. Both are merely conductors for their respective choirs.

They do, once in a while, say something true and fair, but I am sure it is a mere accident.

They're both propagandists, that's what they do. Maybe it's because I do agree with Rush more than I do Moore that I accept Rush as more truthful than Moore. But it is true that they both are propagandists, though I will continue to rank Rush above Moore.

rarely do you hear anything wise come from rush's mouth. "there are more trees in america now than there were when columbus first arrived to the new world" oh my god.

even as a democrat, i havent heard moore say too much that i am impressed with. Even in "Bowling For Columbine", the person who made the most sense is the craziest m-efer ever, marylin manson. kind of ironic.

I actually like the Rush Show although I don't get to listen to him as often as I used to. I agree that Rush spins things just like everyone else in the political world, but hey...Who can blame him? Rush often quotes sorces for where he gets his information. I hear it quite often. Just keep in mind that Rush just like to have fun and is often just making lite of some things.

Like Michael Moore, Rush is not running for anything, so I just take it as it is. He is a very biased person (like the rest of us here) who wants people to agree with him. He (unlike most of us) has just found a way to make lots of money at it...LOL

Michael? Well....This is not to hard either. If you agree with him, you can just switch some names around in my above paragraph and say about the same thing. LOL
