Jing Jin, a female torchbearer on wheelchair experienced physical challenge during the Paris torch relay when she was waiting for the torch in her hand to be lit. She told the press that there were protestors trying to grab the torch from her every several minutes during that 40 minutes of waiting. Her chin and arms were scratched.

Pictures taken by witnesses captured three occasions of her being attacked by well-functioning men. Her wheelchair pusher, a blind athlete, could not offer much help.






Sky News online used a much milder picture (see below) of Jing Jin on its webpage 9th April, totally avoided mentioning what she had experienced and toned the level of violence down as "French policemen hold down a pro-Tibet protestor as the Olympic flame is carried past".



The inhumane attacks on Jing Jin cannot be seen on any western media. Did the attack simply happen too quickly and was missed by western journalists? Look at the two authorised journalists shooting freely in the Sky picture!
